AFCCNC is the premier interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict. AFCC members are the leading practitioners, researchers, educators, and policymakers in the family court arena.

From conversations with professionals across the state, we know there is a strong desire and need to bring the various disciplines together as we strive to provide solutions to common challenges. The North Carolina Chapter of the Association of Families and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) is an inclusive interdisciplinary organization in which judges, attorneys, mental health professionals, mediators, evaluators, educators, parent coordinators, court administrators, financial specialists, and other professionals are dedicated to providing a collaborative forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of procedures to assist families in significant life transitions.
